Work continues nightly on Falcon’s Fury at Busch Gardens Tampa. Over the last two weeks, piles have been driven into the ground to support the massive tower which will be built in the months ahead.
In the pictures below, you can see some of those massive steel beams that are being driven into the ground, including depth markers of up to 135 feet.
Also worth noting is the closure of the Desert Traders store while Falcon’s Fury is being built. Some merchandise has been moved outside under the covered areas which also house games in the Timbuktu entrance area. According to plans, these structures will also be removed to make way for a more open courtyard as guests approach the new ride. Desert Traders will likely reopen once construction is complete in the area.
